Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
1 Rear Compartment Lid Wiring Harness
  1. Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors as needed.
  3. Unclip the rear compartment lid wiring harness.
