Rear Compartment Lid Replacement

1	Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Bolt (Qty: 4) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove all of the internal components. Support the rear compartment lid before removing the hinge bolts. Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Rear Compartment Lid Procedure With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid. Close the NEW lid manually in order to check the clearance between rear compartment lid and folding top stowage compartment lid. Adjust the rear compartment lid as needed. Refer to Clearance and Flushness Specifications .

Procedure

Remove all of the internal components.
Support the rear compartment lid before removing the hinge bolts.

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

With the aid of an assistant, remove the rear compartment lid.
Close the NEW lid manually in order to check the clearance between rear compartment lid and folding top stowage compartment lid.
