Removal Procedure

  1. Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement  - Remove
  2. GM3947170

    Push a screwdriver through the 4 slots (1) in the fuel tank filler housing.

  3. Use the screwdriver to break the retaining tabs (2) on the fuel tank filler housing.
  4. GM3947171

    Rotate the fuel tank filler housing (1) counter clockwise until it can be removed from the vehicle.

  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  6. GM3947173

    Remove the fuel tank filler housing (1).
