Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
- Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
- Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
- Remove the charge air cooler inlet air hose from the turbocharger. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Inlet Air Hose Replacement .
- Remove the turbocharger coolant return pipe from the turbocharger and hang aside. Refer to Turbocharger Coolant Return Pipe Replacement .
Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger coolant feed pipe clamp (6).
- Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bolt (5).
- Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe hollow bolt (4) along with the 2 seal rings (1, 3).
- DISCARD the 2 seal rings.
- Remove the turbocharger coolant feed pipe (2)
- NOTE:
The turbocharger cooling feed pipe fitting is not reusable.
Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger cooling feed pipe fitting (1).
- Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger cooling feed pipe fitting seal ring (2).
Remove and DISCARD the 2 clamps (2).
- Remove the turbocharger oil feed pipe (1).
Remove and DISCARD the 2 turbocharger oil feed pipe fitting (1)
- Remove and DISCARD the 2 turbocharger oil feed pipe fitting seal ring (2)
