Removal Procedure

  1. Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement  - Remove
  2. GM3011802

    Remove the 6 short crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts (1).

  3. Remove the 4 long crankshaft rear oil seal housing bolts (2).
  4. GM3011804

    Loosen the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1) at the intended positions (2) with a suitable tool.

  5. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (1) along with the crankshaft rear oil seal.
  6. GM3213234

    Remove and DISCARD the crankshaft rear oil seal (1) from the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (2), use a suitable tool.
