Turbocharger Disassemble

Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolt (2).
- Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield (1) from the turbocharger (3).
- NOTE:
The turbocharger coolant feed pipe fitting and the turbocharger oil feed pipe fitting are not reusable.
Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger coolant feed pipe fitting (2) along with the seal ring (3) from the turbocharger (1).
- Remove and DISCARD the turbocharger oil feed pipe fitting (5) along with the seal ring (4).
Remove the 2 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hose clamps (1).
- Remove the 3 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve hoses from the turbocharger.
- Remove the 2 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve bolts (2).
- Remove the 2 turbocharger wastegate regulator solenoid valve (3).
Remove the 3 charge air bypass valve bolts (1).
- Remove the charge air bypass valve (2).
Retainer(4)@Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator(2) - Remove and DISCARD
- Nut(6)@Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator - Remove[2x]
- Apply pressure of max. 100 kPA (14.5 psi) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator hose inlet (1) by using EN-667 pump up to the level that the rod end (3) is moved and the turbocharger wastegate actuator can be removed from the wastegate pin (5).
