Intake Manifold Assemble

  1. GM2966409

    Install a NEW intake manifold seal (1) to the intake manifold (2).

  2. GM2966408

    Install the charge air bypass valve (5).

  3. Connect the charge air bypass valve hoses (4, 6) to the intake manifold (7).
  4. Install the throttle body seal (3).
  5. Install the intake air pressure and temperature sensor (1) to the intake manifold.
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the intake air pressure and temperature sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
  7. GM2969148

    Install the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve (2) along with the bracket and the evaporative emission pipe.

  8. Connect the evaporative emission canister purge pipe connector (3).
  9. Install the evaporative emission canister purge solenoid valve bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
