Engine Block Disassemble

Remove the 2 cylinder guide sleeves (1).
- Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal housing locating pin (2).
- Remove the 2 transmission locating pins (3).
- Remove the engine block oil gallery plugs (4, 5).
Remove the engine oil pressure sensor (2).
- Remove and DISCARD the engine oil pressure sensor seal (1).
- Remove the 3 oil pump flow control valve bolts (4).
- Remove the oil pump flow control valve (5).
- Remove an DISCARD the oil pump flow control valve seal (3).
- Remove the knock sensor bolt (6).
- Remove the knock sensor (7).
Remove the engine coolant heater (2), if equipped.
- Remove and DISCARD the engine coolant heater seal (1).
Remove the engine coolant heater hole plug (1), if equipped.
- Clean the threads.
Remove the 4 piston oil nozzles bolts (2).
- Remove the 4 piston oil nozzles (1).
- Remove the lower crankcase locating pin (3).
Remove the engine block oil gallery plug (1).
- Remove the engine front cover bolt guide (2).
- Remove the oil pump bolt guide (3).
