Cylinder Head Removal

  1. Fig 1: Cylinder Head Bolt Loosening Sequence

    Loosen the cylinder head bolts (1) in the sequence as shown.

  2. GM3216212

    Remove and DISCARD the 10 cylinder head bolts (1).

  3. Remove the cylinder head (2).
  4. Remove and DISCARD the cylinder head gasket (3).
