Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Bending Caution .

  1. Heated Oxygen Sensor - Remove - Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 1 .
  2. Catalytic Converter Front Heat Shield - Remove - Catalytic Converter Front Heat Shield Replacement .
  3. GM2906653

    Catalytic Converter Nut(1) - Remove and DISCARD[4x]

  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  5. Exhaust Front Pipe@Catalytic Converter - Remove - Exhaust Front Pipe Replacement .
  6. Catalytic Converter Bracket Bolt(2) - Remove[2x]
  7. GM2906654

    Catalytic Converter(2) - Remove

  8. Catalytic Converter Gasket(1) - Remove and DISCARD
