Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Read the exhaust system cutting instructions before cutting exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Cutting .
- Remove the underbody brace - rear V-rod. Refer to Underbody Brace Replacement - Rear V-Rod .
- Support the exhaust tail pipe.
Remove the exhaust tail pipe bracket bolt (1) from the exhaust tail pipe bracket (2)
Note the dent marks (1) around the exhaust pipe.
Cut the exhaust tail pipe from the exhaust rear muffler at the marked position (3), using the CH-6614 cutter (2).
Unsupport and remove the exhaust tail pipe (4) from the exhaust rear muffler (1).
- Remove the exhaust tail pipe hanger bracket (2).
