Removal Procedure

CAUTION:

Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Bending Caution .

  1. Remove the turbocharger with exhaust manifold. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement .
  2. GM2966417

    Remove the 3 exhaust manifold heat shield bolts (2).

  3. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield (1) from the turbocharger (3).
