Installation Procedure

  1. GM2966417

    Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (1) to the turbocharger (3).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 3 exhaust manifold heat shield bolts (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  3. Install the turbocharger with exhaust manifold. Refer to Turbocharger Replacement .
