Installation Procedure

  1. GM2917594

    Install the fluid cooler pipe (5).

  2. Attach the transmission fluid cooler pipe (5) to the 2 retainers (2).
  3. Clip in the transmission fluid cooler pipe (5) to the 2 engine coolant fan shroud retainers (3).
  4. Connect the transmission fluid cooler pipe (5) to the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler bypass valve connector (1) and the radiator connector (4). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  5. GM2917591

    Clip in the transmission fluid cooler pipe - front (4) to the 2 engine coolant fan shroud retainers (2) and to the 3 retainers (1).

  6. Fill and check the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill .
  7. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  8. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement .
