Installation Procedure

  1. GM2906695

    Install 2 NEW water pump inlet pipe seals (1, 2).

  2. Install the water pump inlet pipe (3).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the water pump inlet pipe bolt (4) and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the water outlet housing. Refer to Water Outlet Replacement .
  5. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  6. Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
