Installation Procedure

  1. GM3405247

    The clamp (1) from turbocharger coolant feed pipe fitting (2) is pre installed.

  2. GM3405246

    Install a NEW turbocharger coolant feed pipe seal ring (2)

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    The turbocharger coolant feed pipe fitting is not reusable.

  3. Install a NEW turbocharger coolant feed pipe fitting and tighten to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. GM3405250
    NOTE:

    Do not remove the turbocharger cooling feed pipe clamp.

    Clip in the turbocharger coolant feed pipe (2) to the turbocharger coolant feed pipe fitting (6).

  5. Pull back on pipe (2) to be sure it is seated correctly in the clamp.
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe hollow bolt (4) along with 2 NEW sealing rings (1, 3) to the turbocharger and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  7. Install the turbocharger coolant feed pipe bolt (5) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in)
  8. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
