Radiator and Charge Air Cooler Bracket Repair

  1. Remove the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement .
  2. GM2028329

    Drill hole in the charge air cooler bracket and radiator bracket (2) using a 7 mm (0.28 in) drill.

  3. Install the j-clip (3) to the radiator.
  4. Install the radiator. Refer to Radiator Replacement .
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the repair bolt (1) with locking compound and tighten to 5 N.m (45 lb in).
