Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Place a collecting basin underneath.
  3. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

    Remove the radiator surge tank engine hose clamp (1).

  5. Remove the radiator surge tank engine hose (4) from the surge tank (2).
  6. Unclip the radiator surge tank engine hose (4) from the clamp in the battery tray (3).

    Loosen the clamp (2).

  8. Remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the radiator surge tank hose (4).
  9. Unclip the radiator surge tank hose (4) from the battery tray clip (3).
