Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Warm Up Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  3. GM2911662

    Remove the 4 engine oil cooler bolts (2).

  4. Remove the engine oil cooler (3).
  5. Remove and DISCARD the engine oil cooler seal (1).
