Installation Procedure

  1. GM2543438

    Position the engine coolant fan wiring harness to the vehicle.

  2. Clip in the wiring harness clips (6, 8) to the engine coolant fan shroud.
  3. Clip in the wiring harness to the engine coolant fan shroud holders (4, 5, 7).
  4. Connect the engine coolant fan motor wiring harness plug (3).
  5. Clip in the wiring harness ground cable clip (9).
  6. Install the wiring harness ground cable (1).
    7. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  7. Install the wiring harness ground cable nut (2) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  8. Raise the vehicle.
  9. GM2543430

    Connect the 2 wiring harness connectors (1).

  10. Clip in the 2 wiring harness clips (2).
  11. Install the front compartment insulator. Refer to Front Compartment Insulator Replacement .
  12. Lower the vehicle.
  13. GM2543435

    Connect the air conditioning refrigerant pressure sensor wiring harness plug (1).

  14. Clip in the air conditioning refrigerant pressure sensor wiring harness to the radiator clip (2).
  15. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  16. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
