Removal Procedure

Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Bolt(1) - Remove
- Bend the exhaust manifold heat shield (2) to gain access to the turbocharger wastegate actuator fixation at the rod end.
Remove the clamp.(1)
- Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Hose@Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator(3) - Remove
- Retainer(6)@Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator - Remove and DISCARD
- Nut(7)@Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator - Remove and DISCARD[2x]
- Apply pressure of max. 100 kPA (14.5 psi) to the turbocharger wastegate actuator hose inlet (2) by using EN-667 pump up to the level that the rod end (4) is moved and the turbocharger wastegaste actuator can be removed from the wastegaste pin (5).
