Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Sensor 2

WARNING:

In order to avoid being burned, do not service the exhaust system while it is still hot. Service the system when it is cool.

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  2. Disconnect the electrical connection.
1 Heated Oxygen Sensor
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
42 N.m (31 lb ft)
Special Tools 
EN-6179  Heated Oxygen Sensor Remover / Installer.
For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools (Diagnostics Tools) .
