Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Buick Cascada, 2018 Buick Cascada, and 2017 Buick Cascada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. GM3324318
    NOTE:

    The EN-51146 - 2 - 5  calibrations tools must be installed to the other injectors, also.

    Install the EN-51146 - 2 - 5  calibrations tools (1) to the fuel injectors (3).

  2. Coat the fuel injector seal (2) with a bit NEW engine oil.
  3. Install NEW fuel injector (3) to the fuel injection fuel rail (1).
    4. NOTE:

    DO NOT reuse the old bolt.

  4. Apply thread lock agent to NEW fuel injector bolt.
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Install the NEW fuel injector bolts to the fuel injector (3) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
  6. Connect the regarding fuel injector wiring harness plug (5).
  7. Install the fuel injector rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Removal and Installation .
