Installation Procedure

Check the crankshaft position.
- The mark (1) on the crankshaft must be set to about 80 degrees (a) after TDC (3).
- If not, turn the crankshaft in direction of engine rotation, use the crankshaft balancer absorber bolt (2).
Ensure that the guide pin (2) is in line with the groove (1).
- Valve Lifter Follower(3) - Install
Seal Ring(2) - Install a NEW seal.
- Fuel Injection Pump Gasket(1) - Install a NEW gasket.
- Fuel Injection Pump(3) - Install
- Install the 2 fuel injection pump bolts (4) alternating in steps of 1/2 turn.
- Fuel Injection Pump Bolt - Tighten[2x] 11 N.m (97 lb in)
Install the fuel injection pump cover (2).
- Connect the electrical connector.(3)@Fuel Injection Pump(1)
- Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement - Install
Clip(1) - Install
- Remove the EN-6015 plugs from all connections.
- Fuel Feed Front Pipe(2)@Fuel Injection Pump(3) - Connect
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Install
- Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose@Throttle Body - Install - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement
- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Connect
