Removal Procedure

- Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection - Disconnect
- Engine Sight Shield Replacement - Remove
Disconnect the fuel feed front pipe (2) from the fuel feed pipe-underbody (1). Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Open the upper bulkhead clip (3).
- Remove the fuel feed pipe-underbody (1) from the upper bulkhead clip.
- Lower the front suspension frame assembly. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement
Open the lower bulkhead clip (2).
- Remove the fuel feed pipe-underbody (1) from the lower bulkhead clip (2).
Open the 4 fuel pipe clips (2) to remove the fuel pipe (1).
Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor wiring harness plug (2)
- Disconnect the fuel tank feed pipe connector (1) from the fuel feed pipe (3). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the fuel feed pipe-underbody (3) from the vehicle.
NOTE:
Lower the suspension frame max.55 mm (2.165 in)
