Installation Procedure

  1. GM2968107

    Install the charge air cooler outlet hose (2) to the charge air cooler (4).

  2. Clip in the charge air cooler outlet hose retainer clamp (3).
  3. Clip in the radiator inlet hose (1) to the charge air cooler outlet hose (2).
  4. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  5. GM2968106
    CAUTION:

    In order to prevent any possible electrostatic discharge damage to the ECM, do not touch the connector pins.

    Install the charge air cooler outlet hose (3) to the throttle body (1).

  6. Clip in the charge air cooler outlet hose retainer clamp (2).
  7. Clip in the turbocharger coolant return pipe (4) to the charge air cooler outlet hose (3).
  8. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
