Installation Procedure

  1. GM2906658

    Install the charge air bypass valve hose (3) to the charge air bypass valve - turbocharger.

  2. Install the charge air bypass valve hose clamp (2).
  3. Install the 2 retainer clips (1).
  4. Raise the vehicle.
  5. GM2906659

    Install the charge air bypass valve hose (1) to the charge air bypass valve - intake manifold.

  6. Install the charge air bypass valve hose clamp (2).
  7. Clip in the charge air bypass valve hose to the 2 clips (3).
  8. Install the engine shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Shield Replacement .
  9. Lower and unsupported the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  10. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
  11. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
