Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve wiring harness plug.
  3. GM3137480

    Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve bolt (1).

  4. Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve (2).
  5. Remove and discard the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve seal (3).
