Installation Procedure

  1. GM3137480

    Install a NEW camshaft position actuator solenoid valve seal (3).

  2. Install the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve (2).
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve bolt (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Connect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve wiring harness plug.
  5. Install the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
