Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Engine Sight Shield Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid wiring harness plug.
  3. GM3137488

    Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid bolt (3).

  4. Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid (2).
  5. Remove the camshaft position actuator solenoid valve solenoid seal (1).
