Removal Procedure

  1. GM2750583

    Disconnect the mass airflow sensor wiring harness plug (2).

  2. Unclip the ECM wiring harness (3) from the air cleaner housing.
  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct (1). Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  4. GM2750584

    Remove the mass air flow sensor (3) from the air cleaner upper housing (2). Refer to Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement .

  5. Remove the 6 air cleaner housing cover bolts (1).
  6. Remove the air cleaner upper housing (2).
