Assemble Procedure

  1. GM2191546

    Install the air cleaner outlet baffle (2) to the air cleaner upper housing (1).

  2. GM2191545

    Install the air cleaner element (3).

  3. Install the air cleaner upper housing (2) to the air cleaner lower housing (4).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the 5 air cleaner housing bolts (1) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
  5. GM2191536

    Install the air cleaner insulator (5).

  6. Install the 2 air cleaner housing insulator (4).
  7. Install the mass air flow sensor (2) to the air cleaner housing (1).
  8. Install the 2 mass air flow sensor bolts (3) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
