Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON
  2. Engine running, accessories OFF
  3. Test for 12.6 - 15.0 V between the battery positive terminal and negative terminal.
    • Go to next step: If within 12.6 - 15.0 V 
  4. Verify the scan tool BCM Battery Voltage parameter is within a value of 2 V of the battery terminal voltage.
    • If not within a value of 2 V 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing below..

    • Go to next step: If within a value of 2 V 
  5. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
  6. Verify the DTC does not set.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing below..

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  7. All OK.
