Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the folding top multifunction control module. Refer to Folding Top Multifunction Control Module Replacement .
  3. GM3405288

    Use a cutter to remove the insulation from the sensor wire (2).

  4. Cut the two sensor wires (2) on the wire connector to the wiring harness (4).
  5. Remove the 2 bolts (5), clip out the sensor rod (1) and remove the sensor (3).
