Installation Procedure

  1. GM3405288

    Install the NEW sensor (3) to the folding top hinge.

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 2 bolts (5) and tighten to 9 N.m (7 lb ft).
  3. Clip in the sensor rod (1).
  4. Connect the 2 sensor wires (2) to the wiring harness (4). Refer to Wiring Repairs .
  5. Insulate the wiring harness. Use electrical tape.
  6. Install the folding top multifunction control module. Refer to Folding Top Multifunction Control Module Replacement .
  7. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
