Installation Procedure

  1. GM4992622

    Folding top weatherstrip retainers (1) - Install

    Install the folding top rear weatherstrip (1)to the folding top kinematic (2).

    1. Slide the weatherstrip from the lower corner upwards into the folding top kinematic.
    2. Use a flat bladed plastic trim tool to push the weatherstrip into the folding top kinematic.
  3. Install the folding top rear weatherstrip (1) to the tension bow (2).
    1. Start at the front of the tension bow and install the weatherstrip with the retainers to the tension bow.
    2. Install the weatherstrip around to the tension bow.
  4. GM4992638

    Push down to install both roof rail rear covers (1).

  5. Close the folding top.
  6. Close all windows.
  7. Open and close the folding top.
  8. Check the folding top rear weatherstrip for proper fit.
  9. Correct the fit of the folding top rear weatherstrip if necessary.
