Adjustment Procedure

  1. Remove the access door from the bracket. Refer to Folding Top Operating Mechanism Access Door Replacement .
  2. Loosen the folding top operating mechanism access door bracket fastener (1) as far as the bracket is movable.
  3. Install the access door to the bracket. Refer to Folding Top Operating Mechanism Access Door Replacement .
  4. Check the dimension data and adjust the access door.
  5. Remove the access door from the bracket. Refer to Folding Top Operating Mechanism Access Door Replacement .
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Tighten the folding top operating mechanism access door bracket fastener (1) to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).
  7. Install the access door to the bracket. Refer to Folding Top Operating Mechanism Access Door Replacement .
  8. Check the dimension data and continue with step one, if needed.
    9. NOTE:

    If replacing the access door, it is possible to use the old one to adjust the dimension data.

  9. Cut a hole in the area of the access door bracket fastener.
  10. Loosen the folding top operating mechanism access door bracket fastener as far as the bracket is movable.
  11. Check the dimension data and adjust the access door.
  12. Tighten the folding top operating mechanism access door bracket fastener to 6.5 N.m (58 lb in).
  13. Remove the old access door from the bracket and install the new one. Refer to Folding Top Operating Mechanism Access Door Replacement .
