Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the folding top front panel. Refer to Folding Top Front Panel Replacement .
    2. NOTE:

    The following step is needed in order to gain access to the folding top front latch actuator motor nuts.

  2. Loosen folding top headlining cover from folding top front bow to reach the folding top front latch nuts. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
  3. GM3324402

    Mark the position of the folding top front latch (1) at the folding top front bow (2) and the folding top lock (3).

  4. GM3324403

    Release the locking spring (1).

  5. Remove the joint bar (2) from the ball stud (3).
  6. GM3324404

    Remove the 4 folding top front latch bolts (2).

  7. Remove the folding top latch (1) from the folding top front bow (3).
