Installation Procedure

  1. GM3324404

    Install the folding top front latch (1) to the folding top front bow (3) to the previously applied markings.

  2. Install the 4 folding top front latch bolts (2).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Tighten the folding top front latch bolts in the sequence 4, 3, 2 and 1.

    1. First pass in sequence to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
    2. Final pass to an additional 45 degrees, using the EN-45059  meter.
  4. GM3324403

    Install the joint bar (2) to the ball stud (3).

  5. Secure the locking spring (1).
  6. Fix the folding top cover to the folding top front bow. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
  7. Install the folding top front panel. Refer to Folding Top Front Panel Replacement .
