Removal Procedure

  1. Remove folding top front panel. Refer to Folding Top Front Panel Replacement .
    2. NOTE:

    The following step is needed in order to gain access to the folding top front latch actuator motor nuts.

  2. Loosen folding top cove from folding top front bow to reach the folding top front latch actuator motor nuts. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
  3. GM3324406

    Mark the position of the folding top front latch actuator motor at the folding top front bow (1).

  4. GM3324407

    Release both locking springs (1).

  5. Remove both joint bars (2) from both ball studs.
  6. GM3324408

    Remove the 3 folding top front latch actuator motor bolts (1).

  7. GM3351972

    Remove the folding top front latch actuator motor (1).
