Installation Procedure

  1. Install the folding top front latch actuator motor (1) to the previously applied markings.
  2. GM3324408

    Install the folding top front latch actuator motor bolts (1) - do not tighten.

  3. GM3324407

    Install both joint bars (2) to both ball studs.

  4. Secure the locking spring (1).
  5. Open and close the mechanism with an suitable tool to center the folding top front latch actuator motor.
    6. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  6. Tighten the folding top front latch actuator motor bolts with 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  7. Open the folding top front latch mechanism.
  8. Fix the folding top cover to the folding top front bow. Refer to Folding Top Cover Replacement .
  9. Install the folding top front panel. Refer to Folding Top Front Panel Replacement
