Installation Procedure

  1. GM3612369

    Install the folding top cylinder valve (2).

  2. Connect the folding top valve electrical connector.
    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the folding top cylinder valve bolts (1) and tighten to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
  4. GM3221605

    For correct display of the hydraulic oil level the folding top pump (1) must be leveled horizontally.

  5. Remove the folding top oil fill plug (2).
  6. Fill in an approved hydraulic oil.
  7. Install and tighten the folding top oil fill plug.
  8. Connect the folding top pump electrical connector.
  9. Check the correct function of the folding top.
  10. Check fluid level with the roof closed and the pump in horizontal position.

    Install the sound capsule (1).

  12. Install new tape (2) to the sound capsule.
  13. If necessary clean any hydraulic oil from the vehicle.

    Place the folding top pump package (1) in the correct position.

    Flip the fuse block bracket (2) up to its fixing point.

  16. GM3011723

    Install the 3 fuse block bracket nuts (2).

  17. Connect the electrical connector (1).
  18. GM3011724

    Install the rear seat back armrest hinge bracket (1).

  19. Install the retainer clip (2).
  20. Install the quarter inner trim finish panel - left side (4). Refer to Quarter Inner Trim Finish Panel Replacement - Left Side .
