Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Buick Cascada, 2018 Buick Cascada, and 2017 Buick Cascada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the folding top hydraulic cylinder.
- Install NEW sealing rings to hydraulic cylinder.
- CAUTION:
Each cylinder utilizes two hoses. Ensure that the hoses are installed in the correct cylinder port. If the hoses are switched, one cylinder may extend while the other cylinder retracts, resulting in damage to the folding top.
Install the hydraulic lines (2) to the hydraulic cylinder and install the fixation clamps (1).
Install the folding top hydraulic cylinder - rear upper (1).
- Install pin (3)
- Install clamp (2)
Install the lower folding top hydraulic cylinder pin (1). It might be necessary for a second mechanic to move the folding top into position in order to install the pin.

Install the folding top hydraulic cylinder - rear lower (1).
- Install clamp (2)
- Function control folding top.
NOTE:
The hydraulic connections must point to the rear of the vehicle.
