Removal Procedure

WARNING:
In order to reduce hydraulic pressure, ensure that the folding top has not been operated for 6 minutes before performing this procedure. Failure to do so may result in personal injury.
- Bring the folding top into position 3. Refer to Folding Top Positions Overview .
Loosen the folding top hydraulic cylinder - front upper (1).
- Remove clamp (2)
- Remove pin (3)
- With the aid of an assistant close folding manually until it rests on the roof front header panel but is not locked.
- Secure the folding top tension bow into opening position. See position 2 in Folding Top Positions Overview .

Loosen the folding top hydraulic cylinder - front lower.
- Remove clamp (1)
Remove the folding top hydraulic cylinder pin (1). It might be necessary for a second mechanic to move the folding top into position in order to remove the pin.
Remove the fixation clamps (1) and remove the hydraulic lines (2) from the hydraulic cylinder.
- Remove the folding top hydraulic cylinder.
