Installation Procedure

NOTE:

The hydraulic connections must point to the rear of the vehicle.

Install the folding top hydraulic cylinder.
Install NEW sealing rings to hydraulic cylinder.
CAUTION:
Each cylinder utilizes two hoses. Ensure that the hoses are installed in the correct cylinder port. If the hoses are switched, one cylinder may extend while the other cylinder retracts, resulting in damage to the folding top.

Install the hydraulic lines (2) to the hydraulic cylinder and install the fixation clamps (1).
Install the folding top hydraulic cylinder - front upper (1).
- Install pin (3)
- Install clamp (2)
Install the folding top hydraulic cylinder pin (1). It might be necessary for a second mechanic to move the folding top into position in order to install the pin.
With the aid of an assistant close folding manually until it rests on the roof front header panel but is not locked.
Secure the folding top tension bow into opening position. See position 2 in Folding Top Positions Overview .
