Component Testing

Static Test
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.
- Test for 4.6 - 5.7k Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the low reference terminal 1.
- If not between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω
Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.
- Go to next step: If between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω
- If not between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω
- Test for 420 - 520 Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the low reference terminal 1 while pressing the open switch.
- If not between 420 - 520 Ω
Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.
- Go to next step: If between 420 - 520 Ω
- If not between 420 - 520 Ω
- Test for 4.6 - 5.7k Ω between the signal terminal 3 and the low reference terminal 1.
- If not between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω
Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.
- Go to next step: If between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω
- If not between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω
- Test for 420 - 520 Ω between the signal terminal 3 and the low reference terminal 1 while pressing the close switch.
- If not between 420 - 520 Ω
Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.
- Go to next step: If between 420 - 520 Ω
- If not between 420 - 520 Ω
- All OK
