Component Testing

Static Test

  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.
  2. Test for 4.6 - 5.7k Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the low reference terminal 1.
    • If not between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω 

      Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.

    • Go to next step: If between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω 
  3. Test for 420 - 520 Ω between the signal terminal 2 and the low reference terminal 1 while pressing the open switch.
    • If not between 420 - 520 Ω 

      Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.

    • Go to next step: If between 420 - 520 Ω 
  4. Test for 4.6 - 5.7k Ω between the signal terminal 3 and the low reference terminal 1.
    • If not between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω 

      Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.

    • Go to next step: If between 4.6 - 5.7k Ω 
  5. Test for 420 - 520 Ω between the signal terminal 3 and the low reference terminal 1 while pressing the close switch.
    • If not between 420 - 520 Ω 

      Replace the S134 Folding Top/Global Window Switch.

    • Go to next step: If between 420 - 520 Ω 
  6. All OK
