Circuit/System Description

The folding top control module monitors two hall-effect switches in the luggage compartment: The folding top luggage barrier sensor - left and folding top luggage barrier sensor - right. The switches monitor the status of the luggage barrier. If the luggage barrier is not in place, the folding top control module will not allow the folding top to open.
The sensors are two-wire hall effect sensors providing an input to the folding top control module. One terminal is low reference and the other is a signal circuit.
