Opening Procedure

- Open the rear compartment lid.
- Unlock the folding top stowage compartment lid. Refer to Folding Top Stowage Compartment Lid Emergency Release .
- Close rear compartment lid.
- Remove the folding top trim panels on both sides by pushing and sliding upwards.
Push on both sides the folding top hinge (1) to the rear using a suitable tool to unlock the hinge.
- Lift up the folding top tension bow simultaneously open the folding top stowage compartment lid to its end position.
- Remove the small lid in the folding top front panel using a screwdriver which is inserted in the recess of the lid.
Insert a 6 mm Allen key (1) into the closure and lock the latch by turning the Allen key counterclockwise to its end position.
Pull out the folding top by lifting the front bow (1) on both sides. Lift up the folding top tension bow (2) simultaneously.
- Move folding top into folding top stowage.
Lift up folding top stowage compartment lid (1) from both sides simultaneously up to the half raised position.
- Insert a 4 mm Allen key into the marked position of the flap-drive unit. Turn the Allen key counterclockwise all the way to the stop, so that the sideways flaps (2) are swivelled out.
- Close the folding top compartment lid.
