Removal Procedure

  1. Fold the rear seats.
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion latch cover. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Latch Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear passenger compartment screen air deflector. Refer to Passenger Compartment Screen Air Deflector Replacement - Rear .
  4. Remove the rear seat back side cushion pads. Refer to Rear Seat Back Side Pad Replacement .
  5. Bring the folding top to the third service position. Refer to Folding Top Positions Overview .
  6. GM2968022

    Remove the 7 retainers (1, 2).

  7. GM2968023

    Remove the 2 retainers (1).

  8. Remove the rear floor panel carpet (2).
