Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Buick Cascada, 2018 Buick Cascada, and 2017 Buick Cascada. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

NOTE:
Pull very carefully and equally.

Install the folding top inner cover to the folding top frame. Slide the 4 folding top inner cover fishplates (2) in the 4 folding top frame brackets (1).
If not already done move the folding top in the middle position and install the upper secure lines left and right side to the folding top frame left and right side. Draw the secure lines through 2 bottom loops.
Clip in the press button and install the plate (2) to the folding top frame (1) left and right side.
CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .

Move the folding top in the front position and lift up the rear tension bow of the folding top and draw the lower secure line through bottom loop. Install the bolt (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in) to install the 2 secure lines (1).
Move the folding top in the middle position and install the 2 bolts (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in) to install the inner molding (2) left and right side.
Use 2 NEW rivets to install the tension belt (4) to the folding top frame left and right side (3).
Clip in the 6 connectors (1) to the connector stick (2) and install the folding top inner cover to the roof rail front panel.
Install the folding top front panel (3) with 8 clips (2) and 2 bolts (4) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in) to the folding top frame (1).
Move the folding top in the front position and lift the rear folding top frame bow as shown in the graphic. Clip in the folding top inner cover window stretch rail (6) to the folding top outer cover window (4).
Clip in the folding top inner cover stretch rail (1) to the rear tension bow (2).
Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
Check for correct function.
